inferiors of euphoria hairdresser salon

Zabrze | 2006

Hair salons are usually spacious places where furniture and mirrors are assigned to walls and create a static layout. The idea behind this salon was to create a mobile space that encourages a high degree of freedom in the interior design of the room. Movable mirrors allow for a high degree of variability in the workstationand make it possible to transform the interior from a classic hair salon into a showroom, where the creator and the art of hairdressing take center stage. The ability to move the workstation also allows for the best possible adjustment of the workplace to the external lighting at any given moment. The mirror arms are designed to be controlled by mechanical actuators. They also feature electrical outlets and LCD monitors with the option of watching TV and viewing the entire hairstyle using a camera. The area where the beauty treatment rooms are located has been completely separated from the salon space and divided functionally by frosted glass walls. These provide the privacy that customers need while improving the lighting comfort of the treatment rooms and introducing soft, relaxing light.
