headquarters of dictador europe

mikołów | in progress

Location

The building is located in the suburbs of Mikołów, in an area where loose suburban development is adjacent to open land. The plot slopes steeply to the north and has a centrally located lens-shaped depression covered with sand reed and Canadian goldenrod with self-seeded silver birch trees.

Investor's guidelines

The investor decided that this would be the location for the company's headquarters. The requirement was to design an office and service building that would reflect the image of a global, dynamic company. The client wanted the headquarters to reflect the ambitions of a young team and the aspirations of a serious global brand in its industry through its original architecture.

The idea

The company originates from Colombia, where its historic distillery is located in the tropical forests. The idea is to create a building surrounded and bathed in greenery. A building surrounded by vegetation, where the surrounding green landscape can be felt from every place in the building. We gave the building a square pavilion shape, which is orthogonally defined in terms of geometry as an expression of human activity. Inside the building, however, the soft, organic lines that form the walls and spaces of the internal gardens correspond to the workings of nature, for which such lines are characteristic. Functionally, the individual departments of the company have been separated in the plan as separate structures, which stand out in the building as units with their own gardens. The greenery of the internal gardens continues in the green landscape outside the building.
